Regrades

We are committed to fair grading: Regrade requests and other concerns

Exam Regrades: Short answer responses with graded rubrics and multiple-choice exams will be made available for review following the exams. If you have any questions about your exam grade, start by asking your Teaching Fellow (TF). Many issues and errors can be resolved with your TF. While the Psych 101 team takes care to score your exams fairly, you may encounter reason to submit your exam for a re-grade. Your re-grade request should be submitted via Gradescope no later than 1 week after exam grades are released

R&W Regrades: If you have any questions about your grade on part of the R&W project, start by asking your TF. Many issues and errors can be resolved with your TF. If you encounter reason to submit your R&W for a re-grade, please email psy101@duke.edu no more than 1 week after your grade is released

In General: Requests for regrades should be respectful, specific, and indicate why you believe that a higher score was earned. The results of the re-grade request are final and may result in a higher or lower score. The teaching team is committed to ensuring consistency in grading practices. Thus, if students have any reason to be concerned that they are being graded unfairly, they should reach out to Drs. Hard & Grisham to discuss their concerns confidentially. They will listen openly, investigate the concern as necessary, and work to find a solution.
